Early this morning at 2:53 a.m., a new member joined the Larsen Family. Elijah Bunyan Larsen (9lbs 6oz, 21 inches). Mommy and baby are doing great! We praise God for His blessings.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! (Elijah’s cries are a joyful noise to his parents and his Creator.)

Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! (Dave and Elisha faithfully serve and trust God.)

Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (God made Elijah and we pray that Elijah will give his life to God.)

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! (We are thankful for little Elijah. We give testimony of God’s love and faithfulness to the Larsens! We bless his name for this little guy!)

For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (The Lord IS good. This birth is a small demonstration of his love and faithfulness!)
