2008 is over. I have so many books I want to read in 2009. I put together this list and realized a couple of things.
1) There are several books that I started 2008 that I need to finish FIRST before moving on to my ’09 list.
2) I need to broaden my reading. Christian books are beneficial but there are many good biographies, novels, and non-fiction out there.
3) Accountability is the key. The books that I have read WITH SOMEONE are the ones that tend to get COMPLETED faster.
4) I want to start writing reviews of the books I read. I think this will help me collect my thoughts and be more purposeful in engaging the book. Much like the benefit of journaling.
So I ask you, what books did you read in 2008?
What books do you look forward to reading in ’09?
