Please pray for my friend Mike’s sister. She was in a car accident Monday night. Sadly, her boyfriend was driving next to her while he was texting. He swerved and hit her car causing her to crash into a tree. From my conversations with Mike, I have learned that there had bleeding in her brain. The doctors induced a coma and operated on her lungs and legs Tuesday. She remains in ICU. She still has surgeries to go through today.
Mike is a believer and is experiencing spiritual conflict in his family. They are being hostile toward his desire to talk about Emily’s and their spiritual condition and need of Christ. Please pray for Mike as he tries to love them and show his desire for her best by being there. I have encouraged him to meet their earthly needs right now and demonstrate love through good deeds while praying for open opportunities to share the gospel later. If you have any suggestions for how I can further council/comfort him, please let me know.
